2026年6月17日、国本女子中学校の生徒たちは再び集まり、ネイティブ英語教員であるセオドア先生、ウェア先生、ハビエル先生の指導のもと、カナダ、アメリカ、フィリピンについて学ぶ「カルチャーデー」を楽しみました。
イベントでは、生徒たちはチームを組み、3か国に関するクイズに協力して挑戦しました。さまざまなお菓子や飲み物を楽しみながら、素敵な賞品も用意され、生徒たちは互いにアイデアを出し合い、応援し合いながら、意欲的に活動に取り組みました。
ゲーム会場となった2つの教室は、笑顔や歓声、友好的な競争、そして有意義な会話であふれていました。生徒たちは各国の文化、伝統、食べ物、国のシンボルについて学びながら、新しい知識を得るとともに、楽しい思い出を作ることができました。
この活動は、多様な文化への理解を深め、グローバルな視野を持つ学習者として成長するための素晴らしい機会となりました。今後も、生徒たちが多様性を尊重し、世界に目を向けるきっかけとなるような、魅力的な国際交流・文化活動を実施していきたいと考えています。
KAIS HOUR: Learning about Canada, USA, and the Philippines on a Cultural Day while Enjoying Snacks and Facts!
On June 17, 2026, Kunimoto Girls Junior High School students got together again to spend time learning about Canada, USA, and the Philippines on our celebration of a Cultural Day led by our Native English Language Teachers, Ms. Theodore, Mr. Ware, and Ms. Javier.
During the event, the students collaborated and worked in teams in answering fact questions of the three countries while enjoying various delicious snacks and drinks, and cool prizes. They all showed great enthusiasm and curiosity as they shared ideas and cheered for one another.
The two rooms as our game arenas were filled with laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful conversations as students explored different cultures, traditions, food, and national symbols. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn something new while creating fun memories together.
We look forward to more exciting cultural activities that inspire our students to appreciate diversity and become global-minded learners.
